Some pictures from our COOP event in June 2011.
It took us about 3 months to build / make / organize / bake / print / carve / sew / grow and we were rewarded with a gorgeous day and amazing turn out! COOP is a group project set up by four Illustration students from Camberwell College of Arts, with an aim to promote sustainability, art and social change. The June event invited people to contribute a small donation for homemade food, cakes and juice, with tie-dyed bags, seeds, tea, rugs and herb bags available for sale. We had lots of fun carving into the building and encouraged visitors to print from the wood and add their own blocks.
